This gallery shows hand drawn pencil portraits in graphite pencil. There are two basic types. The first drawn with pencil on white or tinted paper giving a duo-tone result and the second which is achieved using pencil on a coloured paper with the highlights picked out in white pastel giving a three colour effect.
